About Sunday Morning at St. Paul’s

8:00 a.m.  Said Book of Common Prayer Service.

– This service is a quiet, traditional service using the  Book of Common Prayer.  It attracts an average of 19 people who enjoy the beauty and reverence of our traditional Anglican heritage.  These services are all Holy Eucharist, except for the third Sunday of the month and that is a Morning Prayer service.  On the first Sunday of the month and on special Sundays, our organist Pierre Cabana joins us for one or two hymns.

10:00 a.m. Blended Contemporary/Traditional Service.

– This service celebrates the diversity of worship that is Anglicanism at its best.  Combining both traditional hymns and modern music this service attempts to bridge the gap between our heritage and our future.

-We have a beautiful 2 manual Cassavant pipe organ which has been augmented with an Hauptwerk Digital System which allows the organ to play samples of organs from such places as England, France, Germany, and even Oshawa.
We also have a modern praise team featuring several singers, guitars, keyboards and drums.  Children are also encouraged to participate in our contemporary praise time with various percussion instruments.

Service Schedule

The 8:00 service is always from the Book of Common Prayer.  Every Sunday is a Communion service except for the third Sunday which is Morning Prayer.

The 10:00 service uses a blend of components from our world-wide Anglican community.

On the fifth Sunday of the month we have a “blended service,” including both congregations in one service at 9:30.  This is usually followed by a fellowship brunch and a Town Hall meeting where issues relevant to the parish are discussed together.

This service at 10:00 uses bi-lingual overhead screens and computer images to include everyone in worship.
